Hey guys, wadsup. Now, the SCTs got their postings and goin to their respective camps. The fate of the OCTs will also soon be decided in ard 7 weeks time. So hopefully those in NS can make time in August (maybe?) to meet up and talk cock. Afterall, it's been a long time (and my birthday 2 :)

Anw, 1 obesrvation I made was that the best place to learn vulgarities is not in a gang but the halfway point of a 8km march (within a supposed "28-km" NE route march for the SCTs). Apparantly, there was no rest point after the 4km and most if not all had sth to shout that added to what could be mistaken as a gang fight. Well, speakin of civilised :(

to guys hu are still in bmt: try to get into leadership training sch. being man is quite like bmt cos u only folo instructions nia, and u hav quite little say in what u can do. but if u dun mind doing that it's fine oso, juz that u may one day get very sian of it cos it's following instructions only and u can't make changes that u think will help u slack/help u pang kang earlier. of course, rmb that if u're in ocs or scs, u nid to do more than following instructions. scs = still can slack, so it'll b quite ok. ocs = officially can get screwed. hence i'm quite dead as of now.

Anyway, it's probably been a long while since anyone visited this blog so I've decided to write this post so that if juz if someone chooses to come back here, they could have sth new to read. Basically, the guys have got their postings and mor or less settle into the new envioment (be it OSC, SCS, unit or even clerks), congratulations to those who made it to the command schools, wish u all enjoy urself there. Hopefully we can have another class outin be4 teachers' day and catch up, then go back school together but that's subject to the welfare rep. For residence in the WC GRC, u r always welcomed to contact me to meet up on Saturday nights (after 8pm). That's all. Some of the OCTs shld start postin here since they have to write reports everyday. As 4 me, army has trained me to stick with one-syllabus words not sentences so 4give me for the dis-organised post.

I know a bunch of u out there check this old shack place like once a month thus I'm postin this early so hopefully everyone can empty their schdules and make it. It'll be a year since we meet one another, it'll be good for all of us to meet and catch up. Basically, I propose a gathering (as title suggests, lyk duh) for the class on 11 Nov 2011 at 11pm at _____. It shouldn't be a problem for the guys since the day itself falls on Friday which we'll all be booking out (Y). Gals, hope u all can make it and make time from u pursue of knowledge overseas or otherwise. Place and details shall be further discussed n u peeps will be updated :)

I feel obliged to share with you my personal experiencce as I witness one of our top JC students spreading their love (howling 2) when the moon (probably themselves) is high. I'm touched this Saturday when a bunch of friendly "unknown" HwaChong guys 'n gals approached me & ask me 2 take a photo with (not for) them!! It was around 10pm so anything can happen especially when they seemed high (well with some exception ;]), and waitin for some 6-trees Seniors who failed to show up at the entrance of The Grande T3 Changi Departure Hall. It might be a tiring day for them but their enthusiasm and friendliness really moved me (on a trolley -_-b). Though disappointing it may be that the Seniors were missing, they do seem to have fun.

After CIP @ Kampong Chia Chee, we went to Changi Airport Terminal 3 to wait for Ming Yang and Pao Pao as promised. But they DID NOT TURN UP!!!! We waited until 10:00pm.

Nuances of a No-Life King [3]: Post-Orientation Party

Good day. Today was the day of the Post-Orientation Party, which most of 09S63 (or at least half) attended much to the delight of us, and the organising Council. Hats off to the organisers, even though I left at about six to go home.

We start off the day with the Artemis faculty caps, which, at $2 per piece, can be considered a steal. Baolin serves as our very willing model, at one point even modelling up to three at once.

And now, we skip ahead several hours to lunchtime, where (half) of the gang headed off to the JC canteen to have lunch together. The guys enjoyed a very satisfying (by JC standards) meal of Tori Karaage + Ebi (or, at least, an attempt at it), and everyone had a whale of a time discussing various trivial matters including, but not limited to, how lousy JC food was.

Erwina drinks Winter Melon Tea. Or Green Tea. Either way, DRINKING YEOS. SUPPORT LOCAL PRODUCTS.

Once again, it's time for an update.

Angels and Mortals will be concluded soon. People, please remember to prepare a modest gift for your angels. (I hate the fact that I'm not really following up with my letters though I keep wanting to.)

Today was Physics prac day, and despite looking forward to watching Jennifer sleep in class again today, it was groupwork. And there were no lectures. So sadly, the camera I had so gladly prepared went to waste. ): Sorry Renxiang.

Did manage to get a few shots of Jen taking a wink at the CT bench, though. Renxiang's taking his own sweet time to up them so no pics.

Once again, the CT T-shirt and logo and mascot are still underway.

Please consider your budget for JTS. Currently, it's overwhelmingly in favour of chalet, so I'm going to start scouting for locations for that soon. Someone please make a new poll on what dates we should have it on.

The Art Of Sleeping In Class

Ok, so we've lost our mood to play and getting down to serious mugging. Isn't that so tiring?

Let me introduce you to the art of sleeping:

There's always the sprawl on the table method as mastered by a certain someone in class =D (The one to her right is her apprentice!)
However, to do it the ninja way:

First, get a jacket and zip it up all the way to conceal the top half of your body, leaving only your eyes exposed to watch out for teachers patrolling the area. Ease yourself into a limp position, arms on the table and head angled downwards. When the coast is clear, let your eyelids slide and let your consciousness subside. Breath heavily so your head nods up and down to give the teacher an impression that you are awake!

So how did this method fair? Our friend here who was the first to test it managed to get a full 60 mins of sleep undetected! Are you game enough to try this out?

Much thanks to Ren Xiang for giving me the ability to write on the blog of 09S63.

Today marks the third day of lectures, and everyone by now is probably already getting sick of school and wishing the holidays would come soon.

Well, that's not too far away, at least, since this is already Week 7 and all. But don't you people feel like the days are passing a lot slower than when we were in high school/secondary school/institute of somewhat higher learning? I personally find it so, though that could very well be attributed to my tremendous sense of foreboding everytime there's a Math lecture or tutorial.

So, it seems that most people are of the opinion that today was generally a very big chunk of what-the-hell-is-this-crap.

While I absolutely hate going into details, I must say that the most entertaining part of the day was probably watching Jennifer sleeping on the table during Physics prac, and writing the note to my Angel before and during Math tutorial in the morning (don't ask me why I'm doing it during Math tutorial because it happens). I'm sorry, whoever my angel is, but I really got tired of waiting and everything.

So, on to (somewhat) more important matters:

H2 Econ totally Rox man!! The game is fun, engaging [lol] and we all got to know each other better (hopefully porbably heights? family? address {for easier stalking!?}?). Anyways, rest well 'n prepare yourselves for the 2.5hrs of GP tomorrow. Didn't manage to join you guys for the fac dance (probably missing again tmr due to audtions) sure did miss loads of fun but do enjoy yourselves watching Pao x2 dance ('cauz he is dance I see......) n let's live up to the "Play Hard Work Hard1!" thingy.

Hey fellow 09S63s!

You have to agree with me that we had the most wonderful and grandest orientation ever this week right?

I'm really glad to see that we have managed to form such strong bonds with each other, and I am not just referring to many of us being previous schoolmates! We've managed to come up with a magnificent class flag (many thanks to Baolin, Wei Rong and others who put in effort to do the flag) and our class performance was rather fine I'd say, although we didn't get to represent Artemis!

Our SJ session was rather awesome too, though we did some really lame stuff in that room ^ ^". Go on, leave your suggestions in the tagboard about how we should treat our seniors!

One of the many great moments we had together was our self-initiated icebreakers. Game of Tempo anyone?

Most importantly, orientation was great because of you guys! Three cheers for S63!
